Capital Projects Office experienced an upward trend in total recordable injuries suffered in 2005 and has been working diligently to reduce the numbers of injuries suffered by our contractors' employees. We maintain the present goal as a recordable incident rate of less than two. The most common types of injuries suffered on our projects continue to be cuts and lacerations, primarily to the hand and arm.
In July of this year, Capital Projects recognized it’s direct employees for having completed 1,000,000 work hours with no recordable or lost workday incidents.
