	Dale Stenning of Hoffman presents a powerpoint show of Hoffman’s use of the CATIA software on EMP, the use of laser scanning on the Seattle Central Library, to some of the more current applications, including detailing of concrete work on Brightwater WWTP. A fascinating presentation of the BIM tools, its’ evolution and where it is going.

On September 30, 2009, Mayor Nickels signed into law ordinances adopting a revised Stormwater Code and a revised Grading Code. The effective date for the new code is November 30, 2009. After November 30, 2009, applicants for construction permits will be subject to the requirements of the 2009 Stormwater Code and the 2009 Grading Code. Construction projects related to a Seattle building permit will be regulated by the stormwater code that was in effect on the date the building permit application was submitted.

I am pleased to announce that Becki Eatch has been promoted to Interim Project Development Manager for the Small Projects Delivery Team. This promotion recognizes Becki’s outstanding contributions as an Associate Construction Manager for the Job Order Contracting process, as well as many other projects she has successfully completed since joining CPO in July, 2004.
